AWS Shield is not supported in the GovCloud?

Hi all

I don't see the AWS Shield  in the navigation pane, AWS Shield is not supported in the GovCloud?

While the sources don't explicitly mention AWS Shield's availability in GovCloud, they do indicate that the AWS GovCloud (US) console only includes services that are available in AWS GovCloud (US) Regions. If you don't see AWS Shield in the navigation pane, this suggests it might not be available in GovCloud or might be accessed differently.

AWS GovCloud (US) has several limitations compared to standard AWS regions. For example, AWS WAF in GovCloud doesn't support managed rule groups from third-party AWS Marketplace sellers - only AWS-provided managed rule groups are available. Since AWS Shield Advanced often works in conjunction with AWS WAF, this limitation might affect Shield functionality as well.

The AWS GovCloud console also has other restrictions, such as not permitting navigation to any regions other than AWS GovCloud (US) Regions, and certain features like Resource Groups, Tag Editor, Personal Health Dashboard alerts, and others are not available.

According to the documentation below, AWS Shield is not listed, so it may not be available.

Also, the following AWS Shield documentation does not list GovCloud endpoints.  
Since GovCloud endpoints are listed in documentation for EC2 and other services, it is likely that AWS Shield cannot be used.
