Impact of changing RDS Oracle licensing options

Hello Team

I am trying to change the license option for my RDS Oracle instance from "BYOL" to "License Included". Will there be any impact on the temporary unavailability of the RDB instance at that time?

Hello

Downtime occurs while changing RDS Oracle licensing options.

  • If you choose to apply the change immediately, it occurs immediately.

  • If you don't choose to apply the change immediately, it occurs during the next maintenance window.
