NAT Gateway Elastic IP will be my Permanent Static IP ?

After creating Elastic IP from NatGateway.I got this (Primary Elastic IP address).This Elastic IP will be my gateway to connect to Internet ? I can give this Elastic IP to my Partner so that he can whitelist this on his end to receive the data.Please correct me here ? This Elastic IP would be static IP here ?

Yes, this elastic IP address is yours until you release it.
