Unable to Connect Http ports Even after allowing in Security group.

Question

Hi ,
 We are running Apache webserver in EC2 instance. Suddenly We are unable to connect to HTTP ports (80,443) . We have checked everything normal from server .There is no restrictions in NACL . And we have allowed ports in Security groups to public. but still unable to connect via Public IP "Note: We are able to telnet the ports locally as well as using private IP. From public IP not able to connect . Please help us on this.

What OS are you running on?

Your host firewall could be blocking inbound HTTP and HTTPS. Configure firewall to allow inbound HTTP and HTTPS. Or you can stop firewall daemon.

For Ubuntu
```
sudo ufw disable
```

For RHEL, Rocky, Alma ... 
```
sudo systemctl stop firewalld
```

Maybe Apache is down? Try to SSH to the instance and check with local host. According to description of security group and NACL you are going everything right. Just double check the port settings. Also for more advanced troubleshooting check internet gateway and route tables
