SSL Certificate showing as not in use

Question

I just finished generating a Certificate through AWS Certificate Manager but the column "In Use?" shows "No". How can I change this to put the certificate in "Yes"? Thanks in advance for any help. It is the first time I am using AWS and it is so confusing...

Answer

You should use your certificate in a supported AWS service. Then, the status will change.

>  You cannot install your ACM certificate directly on your AWS based website or application.  
ACM certificates are supported by the following services:
