When upgrading RDS(mariaDB) version, will endpoint and ARN information change?

0

I am trying to upgrade Maria DB version. (It's because aws has stopped supporting that version.)

The thing to worry about is that the DB endpoint and address such as ARN seem to have changed.

Does the version upgrade change values such as endpoints or ARNs?

If you created a new database, exported the data and imported, then of course the ARN and endpoint will change. If you requested an upgrade on an existing RDS instance, it will remain the same. See https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonRDS/latest/UserGuide/USER_UpgradeDBInstance.MariaDB.html#USER_UpgradeDBInstance.MariaDB.Major
