Share video with audio in Chime

Question

How do I share a video with audio while I share my screen in Chime? I tried but the audience can see the video, not hear the audio. What kind of settings or tools should I use?

Answer

While sharing your screen you are sharing a screen without real-time audio/video. Amazon Chime does not natively offer the ability to stream a video from your computer using screen share. Realtime audio/video may not be optimized to be shared in real time with your audience. One option is to use a screen capture tool such as OBS Studio to play the audio/video as your camera source.
