Request Timeout when trying to import wordpress xml

Question

I'm following this guide to migrate my Wordpress site to LightSail.

But when I try to import my XML file (Step 4) I get this error:  
> Request Timeout.  
> Server timeout waiting for the HTTP request from the client.  
  
Btw the file is just 1.7 MB, so I don't think it's that.  
  
Have you seen this before? Or know where I can find error logs?

Are you using the bitnami created blueprint?  
  
How big is your LS instance?  
  
Are you using a hosted database or a database in your LS instance?

Yes I'm using the Bitnami blueprint.  
  
I realized though that the standard WordPress import is a bit worthless anyway, since it doesn't include media, plugins etc.  
So I tried the All-in-One WP Migration plugin instead, and that worked &#128077;
