Answer I recieved via e-mail:
Thanks for reaching out.
We recently made a change to the Amazon Monitron login experience, and that change may have resulted in some users having issues logging into the Amazon Monitron App on mobile devices. To resolve this, please have affected users update the app by going to Apple or Google app stores.
Prior to October 24, 2022, Amazon Monitron requires that users enter their username and password every 8 hours, but has supported the ability for users to save their login username/password in the app so that reentering their credentials was not necessary.
Beginning October 24, 2022, users are able to extend the login session duration to a maximum of 7 days for versions 1.0.3642 and higher. To extend login session duration for your users, please upgrade the app and visit “Configure AWS access portal session duration” [1] in Identity Center to configure the login session duration. If not enabled, users will be required to reenter their username and password every 8 hours.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact AWS Support [2].
