The pipeline source stage stuck in error [randomly]

After a push on CodeCommit sometimes, and only sometimes, the pipeline crashes in the Source Stage with the following errors and checking S3 shows that the artifact is not created. After that, without changing anything, on the umpteenth attempt the Source concludes without errors. Last time we had the production environment down for 16 hours. How can I trubleshoot this error?
