Lightsail backup

Question

I accidentally deleted my node in lightsail and I wanted to know if aws can restore it for me. It’s a major application on that server and has been deleted from my profile.

Were snapshots enabled on the node before it was deleted? https://docs.aws.amazon.com/lightsail/latest/userguide/understanding-instance-snapshots-in-amazon-lightsail.html

If they were enabled then it may be possible to restore, although note the warning in the red box in the link:

> All automatic snapshots associated with a resource are deleted when you delete the source resource .... To keep your automatic snapshots when you delete the source resource, see [Keep automatic snapshots](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/lightsail/latest/userguide/amazon-lightsail-keeping-automatic-snapshots.html).

Answer

Is it not possible for AWS to restore. If I call them. I like from veeam or something that they use to manage backups?
