Firstly, AWS DirectConnectGateway is inherently highly available construct, see below statement from the documentation
A Direct Connect gateway is a globally available resource. You can create the Direct Connect gateway in any Region and access it from all other Regions. You can set up Direct Connect to bypass a parent Availability Zone and connect directly to the internet or through Direct Connect points-of-presence
As for the DirectConnect, there are various types of Resiliency types; since you are using Hosted connection suggest getting in touch with the DX partner.
If possible include box diagram of your connectivity in the post to better understand your topology.

Hi Tushar,
Can we have two Private VIF each from "hosted direct connect" attached to DCGW that can work in Active Passive?
Yes that should be possible, see these 2 links: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/whitepapers/latest/building-scalable-secure-multi-vpc-network-infrastructure/direct-connect.html and https://aws.amazon.com/premiumsupport/knowledge-center/direct-connect-private-transit-interface/
