CodeBuild hangs at DOWNLOAD_SOURCE phase

I have configured two build projects which are connected to Github repositories. One of these projects builds successfully with no issues. The latter however, hangs indefinitely at the DOWNLOAD_SOURCE phase (I have set the clone depth to 1 on a specific branch). Cannot really debug this, as there are no logs or anything. What else could I try?
