Greetings,
Please note that Amazon Monitron, the Amazon Web Services (AWS) machine learning (ML) service for industrial equipment condition monitoring, will no longer be available to new customers effective October 31, 2024 [1]. Existing customers of Amazon Monitron will be able to purchase devices and use the service as normal.
That said, to resolve the "You don't have access to this IAM Identity Center application" error for Amazon Monitron, there are several potential causes that need to be verified:
IAM Identity Center (formerly AWS SSO) Permission Check:
- Confirm that you've been assigned to the appropriate permission set
- Verify your user account is part of a group that has Monitron access
Required Access Configuration:
- Ensure your administrator has:
- Added you to the Monitron application in IAM Identity Center
- Assigned the necessary Monitron permissions to your user/group
- Enabled Monitron service access in your AWS account
AWS Account Status:
- Verify that Monitron is supported in your AWS region
- Confirm your AWS account has been properly onboarded for Monitron usage
Recommended Next Steps:
- Contact your AWS administrator to verify your IAM Identity Center permissions.
- Request to be added to the appropriate group or permission set for Monitron access.
- Ensure your AWS account meets all prerequisites for Monitron usage.
