I don't understand why $3515 was charged

0

I signed up for a free trial and verified my credit card for authorization, and $0.10 was charged and then refunded. Five minutes later, $3515.60 was suddenly charged, and I have no idea why. When I checked the console, it shows that I purchased a product, but I didn't select anything.

I'd suggest you to reach out to AWS support by creating a case under Account and billing section and explain them the situation. They are well equipped to look for the issues here and help you out.

Refer Creating support cases and case management and contact customer support for more details.

Hope this helps. Comment here if you have additional questions, happy to help.

Amazon Web Services (which is not the same as Amazon the retailer, nor Amazon Prime) doesn't really do free trials, unless it's Free Tier you're thinking of?

Could anybody else have access to your account? As well as the good answer from @secondabhi_aws to reach out to AWS Billing, also consider adding multi-factor authentication to your account https://docs.aws.amazon.com/IAM/latest/UserGuide/id_credentials_mfa_enable_virtual.html
