Scaling a cluster

Is it possible to scale a cluster down ? We are currently set up with 6 brokers (2 per AZ), and I would like to scale that down to 3 brokers. Is this possible without having to stand up a new cluster and switch DNS names to point to the new Zookeepers and Brokers ?
Thanks,
Jason

You currently cant change the number of brokers within a cluster. We are working on adding that functionality. The current solution involves standing up a new cluster and replicating the data with a tool like Mirrormaker or equivalent.
