Workdocs Synchronization

We use workdocs on 5 computers and we have the following problem:

  • We create a file on the computer and it is automatically synchronized in the workdocs cloud almost instantly.
  • Another user from another computer will need access to this file, but his sync takes too long causing him to open an old version of the file. The same problem happens on all company computers in different browsing environments. How can we solve this synchronization delay?

WorkDocs replication is asynchronous by nature. This means that both the upload and download processes may take a variable amount of time. There's no way to force the synchronisation of files to happen at a particular time.

It sounds like you're looking for near real-time visibility of files across multiple computers then you might look at Storage Gateway if the users are all located together.
