skillbuilder subscription error

0

I am trying to purchase a subscription to SkillBuilder. I'm prompted to sign in using my builderID. I enter my credentials and MFA. Instead of going to "check out" I get this error: "There was an error saving your AWS account."

Based on your description, you're encountering an error when trying to purchase an AWS Skill Builder subscription. This type of error can occur for several reasons:

  1. There might be an issue with the connection between your Builder ID and your AWS account. Make sure you're using the same account credentials for both your Builder ID and AWS console.

  2. Some users have reported technical issues with subscription recognition after creating a Builder ID, where the system doesn't properly recognize their existing subscription or account details.

  3. There could be payment method verification issues. AWS Billing might be unable to verify or process your payment method, which can prevent subscription completion.

  4. AWS Skill Builder might be experiencing temporary technical issues or maintenance.

To resolve this issue, you could try:

  1. Verify you're logged in with the correct Builder ID that matches your AWS account.

  2. Try using a different web browser or clearing your cache and cookies.

  3. Check that your payment method information is up-to-date and valid.

  4. Contact AWS Training & Certification support directly for assistance with your subscription access issues.

If you do manage to complete the purchase but still have issues accessing content, note that some users have reported that their subscriptions were canceled after purchase due to payment processing failures, even when they could initially access the content.
