NICE DCV Server on Ubuntu 20 - "Connecting" indefinitely

2

I installed the stack provide by: Ubuntu 20.04 LTS Desktop - NICE DCV (GPU) with NVIDIA Gaming Drivers By: Sys App Architect

However when trying to connect to the istance either using the web browser or the Client Portal I find myself indefinitely "Connecting"

  • When Running netstat --tcp I can verify there is a connection stablished
  • DCV server version 2022.0 (r12123) - 92533f80b0f1dfbedc852e42b2f86485da4d64ca

It was supposed to be as smooth as this example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oeRR6-U3IvU

  • @Renan, I'm seeing this same issue. Did you find a solution?

  • UPDATE 1 - NISP and NICE ami works fine. So it seems to be a Sys App issue.

The first thing I would check is whether your inbound security group allows traffic on port 8443. If that is not the issue, check the client's dcv.conf and make sure you have the correct server IP address and port number. If neither of these suggestions work, I would suggest opening an AWS support case so that an engineer can assist you in troubleshooting the issue further.
