Linking AWS account login with Builder ID login

Question

I created a builder id now for posting the questions in aws re:post . Previously i used 2 aws accounts to post questions here. One was with my previous employer and another with current employer.

1. Whenever i tried to link the current employer aws account login, it is continuously failing.
2. Is there a way to claim that previous employer login.

It will be super helpful if some one share insights on how to resolve this.

Hello. Thanks for your question. The feature you are looking for is profile merging, which we are prioritizing soon. Unfortunately, Linked logins only work for brand new logins, as previously used logins are already associated with a profile.

I recently had a call and a screen share with the re:Post PM and a solutions architect on the product. They are looking into the issues/nuance with the account linking. I am having similar issues.
