Can I send AMIs to recycle bin?

Yes more information about doing so can be found here https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSEC2/latest/UserGuide/recycle-bin.html. It works in a similar way to moving a document on your computer to the recycle bin although after a time period the AMI's in the bin will be permanently deleted.
