transition to glacier immediately

Can we transition from S3 standard to s3 Glacier class immediately by putting 0 days in lifecycle rule. I have tried but it but data still in s3 standard class does it take time for transition?, My data is about 74 MB only. is there any minimum period till that time I must keep that data in S3 standard class?

If your objective is to store an object directly in Glacier, why do you want to go through S3 Standard first and then use a life-cycle policy to move the object to Glacier. You can use the CLI or SDK to directly upload archives to Glacier - https://docs.aws.amazon.com/amazonglacier/latest/dev/uploading-an-archive.html
