Did you use the correct region when importing the certificate into ACM?
ACM is a regional service and must be configured in the same region as the Client VPN endpoint.

I confirmed that both ACM and APC are in the same region (ap-southeast-1), When I request a certificate in ACM, it can be selected (but the creation fails), but I cannot select the imported certificate
https://docs.aws.amazon.com/vpn/latest/clientvpn-admin/mutual.html Are you sure you are importing the certificate correctly using this method?
I get it, I've been importing the root certificate i.e. the ca.crt as well as the ca.key and I have to use the client certificate Thank you
