Hello, assuming that you were able to install, wget and curl will typically use port 80 for HTTP and port 443 for HTTPS. The security group will have to allow this traffic which you check here. If you were unable to install wget and curl, the resolution will depend on the error you are recieving. The most common causes are not having the right permissions to install (e.g. not using sudo) or not being able to reach the repository endpoint (again port 443 needs to be allowed in the security group).
