Activate Provider Affiliation Clarification

We are a startup, wanting to register for a AWS Portfolio account and apply for $100k credits. We have access to an organisation that is currently registered as an Activate Provider , but we need clarity before we use their Org ID when we apply.

• Do we need to have a legal affiliation to the Activate Provider when we apply, or can we simply use their Org ID to apply?
• Does our application for credits affect the Activate Provider's credits in any way?
