Hiberate Workspace instead of shut-down it

Hi,

On my Workspace, I install WAMPServer. So each time when I need to use it, I need to start WAMP server which takes some time and is inconvenient. And I need to open many other software such as VS code.

So when I finish with my work, can I hiberate the computer instead of shut down the computer. So that when I need to start again, I can activate it without having to restart WAMP Server and other tools?

Also during the hibernation period, will I be charged for the fee? My Workspace is in AutoStop mode.

Workspaces only has two running modes: AlwayOn and AutoStop. You can switch your instance to AlwaysOn by paying a fixed monthly fee to get unlimited usage. Another option is to install your WAMPServer on an EC2 instance which does support hibernation. Here is more detail about [EC2 hibernation](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSEC2/latest/UserGuide/Hibernate.html). While the instance is in hibernation, you pay only for the EBS volumes and Elastic IP Addresses attached to it; there are no other hourly charges (just like any other stopped instance).
