Broken Everynet Links in AWS IoT Core for LoRaWAN Documentation (Console & Blog)

0

Dear AWS, I am using AWS IoT Core for LoRaWAN with LoRaWAN devices. The service includes public network support in collaboration with Everynet. Unfortunately, all links to Everynet, your partner, are now broken. Can you fix them?

It seems that Everynet was purchased by the Netmore Group: https://netmoregroup.com/news/netmore-group-continues-global-expansion-with-the-acquisition-of-lorawan-network-operator-everynet/

I am using LoRaWAN with a private network running on AWS, and I would like, as an AWS Community Builder, to share my experience. I wanted to discuss the public network that you provide, but I am unable to check which countries can benefit from it, as no coverage maps are available, coverage map from Everynet is not accessible and the "coverage" page in the IoT LPWAN console is temporarily unavailable (not sure it repalce the everynet one);

Here are some broken links: In the console, when creating a service profile (https://eu-west-1.console.aws.amazon.com/iot/home?region=eu-west-1#/wireless/profiles/service/create), the "Everynet's Terms and Conditions" link is broken: https://support.everynet.com/portal/en/kb/articles/network-user-agreement

In the public announcement of public LoRaWAN network support (https://aws.amazon.com/fr/blogs/iot/introducing-support-for-public-networks-with-aws-iot-core-for-lorawan/):

Thank you in advance for looking into this. Best regards, Maximilien Charlier

PS: I am not sure this is the best way to report a bug, but there is no way for me to open a case as I only have access to accounts with basic support.

Thank you for bringing this documentation issue to our attention. I understand you've encountered broken links related to Everynet in the AWS IoT Core for LoRaWAN documentation and console, and you're looking for updated coverage information for the public LoRaWAN network feature.

For documentation issues like broken links, the most effective way to report them is through the AWS Documentation feedback mechanism. You can find a "Provide feedback" link at the bottom of most AWS documentation pages, which allows you to report specific issues directly to the documentation team without requiring a support plan.

Regarding the public LoRaWAN network support, AWS IoT Core for LoRaWAN does partner with Everynet to offer extended radio coverage in the US, UK, Ireland, and Spain. When using the public network, there is a connectivity charge for each device per month. The pricing information is available on the AWS IoT Core pricing page.

For the most current information about coverage and service availability, I'd recommend:

  1. Checking the AWS IoT Core for LoRaWAN documentation directly for any updates
  2. Using the documentation feedback mechanism to report the specific broken links you've identified
  3. Reviewing the AWS IoT Core pricing page for the latest details on public network connectivity

Since you mentioned you're an AWS Community Builder working with LoRaWAN on a private network, your feedback about these documentation issues is valuable and will help improve the experience for other users exploring public network options.

Thank you for taking the time to document these issues thoroughly with specific URLs and context.

  • OK Bot, but this is not about documentation, it's about the blog article for the service announcements and broken links in the console, none of them have "provide feedback" to report broken links.
