I need to recover my resources

0

Hello everyone, my account has just been reopened after being locked for security reasons for a few months. I contacted AWS support to unlock it, but all of my EC2 instances have been deleted (I'm sure I selected the correct region). There are many important things in there that I need to recover. Does anyone know how to fix this or how to restore an EC2 instance?

Thanks for your help.

Hello.

We recommend that you check whether the EC2 instance has really been deleted from the EC2 global view.
It's possible that you were looking at a different region.

Do you have any EC2 snapshots left?
If there are no snapshots left, I don't think you will be able to restore the data even if you contact AWS Support.

Thank you for your response. I have checked, and I couldn't find any instances, nor do I have any stored EC2 snapshots.

I still don't understand why AWS suddenly locked the account and deleted all instances without any prior notice.
