S3 Gateway Endpoint - Charges?

0

Evening folks,

I understand that an S3 gateway endpoint allows for AWS services to communicate with S3 internally over AWS' backbone which from what I can see there is no charge for using this service.

I assume that the S3 charges for PUT / GET / LIST requests still stands regardless of whether these requests come from internal or over S3 public endpoint?

Hi Kevin,

Yes you are right. There is no additional charge for using gateway endpoints and it does not influence the prices on PUT/List requests.

https://docs.aws.amazon.com/vpc/latest/privatelink/vpc-endpoints-s3.html

Hope it clarifies.
