QuickSight: how to use data hosted on SharePoint?

Business users regularly host data on Microsoft SharePoint. Is there any way to get csv or xlsx data in SPICE, that doesn't involve using a prorietary solution ?

you have to use an excel file as input for Quicksight not Sharepoint. you can create a local file and link the data from Sharepoint to a local excel file as a copy as links. then use the local file with quick sight.
