I know https://aws.amazon.com/about-aws/whats-new/2021/03/amazon-timestream-now-supports-amazon-vpc-endpoints/ says Timestream VPC endpoints are available but I'm skeptical they actually are yet.
Running CLI commands as described in https://docs.aws.amazon.com/vpc/latest/privatelink/aws-services-privatelink-support.html "View available AWS service names" I can't see Timestream for any region I tried, including us-east-1 and us-west-2.
I could create an endpoint in the US-east-1 in N.Virigina, but not in the eu-central-1 (frankfurt). It's not clear what is the issue here. is it due to restriction(I don't think as per this link https://docs.aws.amazon.com/general/latest/gr/timestream.html) or am I missing something.
That link looks like it lists service endpoints which can be used from public internet; no information on support of VPC Endpoints there though.

I followed these steps, but still don't see the timestream service name in the endpoint for Frankfurt region. However, in the same account I could this in Virginia Region.
