Maximum Quota We Can Request in SES.

If we are operating within a production environment in SES with a 50,000/day mail limit, there is a question of whether it will auto-scale if we exceed this limit. I would like to know the maximum quota we can request in SES limits. Also, I would like to know how a high limit might affect costs if we don't use it all.

Hello. Sending Limits: SES has both daily and per-second sending limits. The daily sending limit you mentioned, such as 50,000 emails per day. A lot of answers to your questions in this article https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/messaging-and-targeting/all-about-ses-daily-quota/.

Cost Implications: Requesting a higher sending limit may have cost implications, as SES pricing is based on the number of emails sent. If you request a higher limit and don't use it, you won't be charged for the unused capacity. However, you will be charged based on the number of emails you actually send. So, if you don't send close to your requested limit, you won't incur additional costs. Best regards, Andrii
