Windows 2008 EC2

Are there any limitations operating Windows 2008 (not R2) on EC2?

Specifically interested in issues changing instance type/family within the current generation.

Eg m4.4xlarge -> m4.2xlarge or m4.4xlarge -> r4.xlarge

Most M4 and R4 would be fine but 2008 Sp2 lacks driver support for newer platforms that leverage ENA and NVMe. This may also limit your ability to operate in new regions that lack previous generation instance types.
