Volume Attachment - I created a volume and when I try to attach it does not show all my instances

I have created a new AL2 instance so that I can migrate from my AL1 instance. I created a snapshot of the data drive and then created a volume from that drive. However, when I try to attach the volume, the new instance does not show as one I can attach to. Am I missing a step somewhere?

Nevermind... I just found the problem. It's not in the same AZ... ugh.
