Is it possible to delete a granted license in AWS?

0

I accidentally created 2 granted licenses when I went into the AWS ROSA (Red hat Openshift on AWS) service, and I don't want to be charged for something I don't want.

When I try to delete the 2 granted licenses that show up, there is no option to do so.

Any ideas?

  • I had a similar issue, I had an OpenVPN Access Server license in my AWS License Manager, but there are no active grants associated with it.
Go to AWS Marketplace > manage subscriptions, remove it from there. The licences should be removed from there too after few seconds or minutes. Hope this helps anyone in future, I faced this case today.

You may first Disable Auto-Renewal and reach out to AWS Support to request the removal of the accidentally created licenses. I may be wrong but you may get charged for that period till they get removed from your account.
