Opensearch Nodes disappearing since upgrading to OpenSearch_1_2_R20240502
We have a two data node opensearch set up in two different AZs which we use for development and testing, ever since upgrading to OpenSearch_1_2_R20240502 on the 14th May one of the data nodes keeps disappearing eventually it returns but during this time the cluster health is yellow since it only has one node. There are no errors in the node logs saying why it disappears. Does anyone know of a way to fix this?
The screenshot below shows the node disappearing and reappearing.

There could be multiple reasons why a nodes/nodes getting dropped. Reference : https://repost.aws/knowledge-center/opensearch-node-crash. The Root cause can be determined only if investigated. Kindly open a support case and support engineer will be able to assist.

AWS Support say they can't help since this account doesn't have a support plan and having to pay to fix something which seems to be an AWS issue doesn't seem right?
