I am experiencing an issue with my AWS WorkMail account where emails are bouncing back with the following error message:

“You have exceeded the sending limit for this account.”

This issue is severely impacting our operations as we rely on this WorkMail account for critical communications. I am unsure why this limit has been exceeded, and I would appreciate your prompt assistance in resolving this matter.

WorkMail Account: Hazel AWS Account ID: 406543287010 Region: us-east-1 Error Message: "You have exceeded the sending limit for this account." Additional Information:

I have not received any prior notification regarding limits on my account. The email sending activity has not changed significantly in recent times. Please advise if there are any immediate steps I can take to resolve this issue. Thank you for your urgent attention to this matter. Are you using it in a way that exceeds the quota as described in the document below?

If you are not using the service in a way that exceeds the quota, there may be some kind of restriction on your AWS account, so we recommend that you open a case with AWS Support under "Account and billing".
