Hello,
As a first thing, I would request you to mask your Account number and donot share this in public forum.
While 30 GB of EBS storage will be free tier per link, the moment you have provision a 30GB EBS volume, it will be considered as used space. It is not that inside the Volume, how much actual data is stored. This is because the whole 30GB EBS volume gets created and attached to this EC2.
Can you please check if snapshots are enabled for this EBS volume and backup taken because these snapshots also consumes space and charged beyond 1GB. Additionally, please check your detailed bill whether the cost incurred due to storage or any other data transfer charges as well.
Hi there,
I suggest reaching out to our Billing team for further assistance with your question. They have the insight & tools to take a closer look into this. You can reach them by creating a case via the Support Center.

The 30GB is automatically provided as I've created the instance. If I delete the only existing instance, will 30 GB-Mo Free Tier be free up for new instance? What is Free Tier per link?
With your explanation , that "While 30 GB of EBS storage will be free tier per link, the moment you have provision a 30GB EBS volume, it will be considered as used space. This is because the whole 30GB EBS volume gets created and attached to this EC2." I am clear with that. But my question is why this 30GB-Mo Free Tier storage is fully used up after the instance created ?
I've created 2 Snapshorts , but have deleted them after 1 day. Why the add. storage cost is still incurr everyday until now? If I delete this only existing instance, will I get back 30 GB Free tier?
