Sending sms with sns

0

I am developing a mobile application that needs to send an OTP to users for signup confirmation, but I checked one of the countries where I want to send the SMS as per my user base and see that one of the countries has only this "Supports Sender IDs" set to yes according to this table https://docs.aws.amazon.com/sns/latest/dg/sns-supported-regions-countries.html Can I still send an SMS to such countries using the sns services? The country of interest to me in this regard is Nigeria. Thanks in advance

Yes. You can. This means that you can specify a sender ID. There are other options like long codes, that may be supported in other regions, but you do not need to use them.
