Can't see the default Django installation in the browser

0

Hi everybody,

I have installed Django on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS on AWS Lightsail into a brand new root directory. But when I am running 'python manage.py runserver 0.0.0.0:8000' I can't see absolutely anything in the browser on my static IP and port 8000. Could anyone help me with what I am doing wrong and what the problem is? Thanks.

Django version 3.2.9, using settings 'project.settings'

Starting development server at http://0.0.0.0:8000/

Quit the server with CONTROL-C.

  • Have you checked your firewall settings on your instance networking page? You may need to open port 8000.
