AWS LightSail is a platform as a service (PaaS) mainly targeted for web hosting with Virtual Private Servers (VPS) for lower cost. Its intended to provide a simple web user interface to Manage the Servers and basic configuration arround it. This is not recommended for highly scalable applications which utilizes Elasticity in Cloud.
Amazon S3 is a great service to safely backup your data where redundancy is guaranteed and the cost is fair.
Read this 3rd party article on comparisons between the 3, however it is supposed to be used only for reference.

You should consider Amazon Lightsail since it would really simplify your deployment and ease you into AWS. There is a guide here to help you bring up a WordPress site with very little effort as well as some documentation on how to use object storage with Amazon Lightsail. Hope this helps!
