Workspaces linux client not loading

0

I am facing a problem with the AWS WorkSpaces Linux client. While I can access WorkSpaces via a web browser, the Linux client does not function properly. The issue occurs when trying to connect to a workspace: the Linux client successfully initiates and transitions the workspace from a stopped status, but fails to establish a streaming connection.

I have ensured that the Linux client is enabled and have tried various troubleshooting steps, but the problem persists. AWS support has directed me to seek assistance from the engineering team or community experts here on re:Post. Any insights or solutions to resolve this streaming issue with the WorkSpaces Linux client would be greatly appreciated.

I think this might be the issueh

https://docs.aws.amazon.com/workspaces/latest/userguide/amazon-workspaces-linux-client.html

The WorkSpaces Linux client version 2023.0.4395 for Ubuntu 22.04 is only available for the WorkSpaces Streaming Protocol (WSP).

uninstalled the client and reinstalling WSP only

awesome it works now that's what it was

The WSP option is the second option in the downloads page and it doesn't specify jammy or focal until you download it
