Can you integrate Sagemaker Studio into your local IDE?

0

I would like to access the Sagemaker Studio notebook or codeeditor from my local IDE. The whats-new announcement from December might indicate that it's possible. However, I'm not sure if I understand this correctly or if this refers to the 'local' training where you can fit the estimator within the notebook instance instead of starting a new training instance as I understand from the documentation.

Studio Classic supported this with the help of sagemaker-ssh-helper. But this does not work with JupyterLab notebooks or with Codeeditor as of now.

Is there a way to access the instances from your local IDE (e.g., pycharm or vs-code?)?
