db.t2.medium reserved instance missing

0

Hi all, I have a Aurora MySQL cluster with 2x db.t2.medium multi-AZ instances (reader/writer). My last reserved instances expire today but in the purchase form I can only see db.t3.medium. Why?

Hello.

I tried searching for whether a Reserved Instance can be used with the AWS CLI below, but I couldn't find anything for "t2.medium".

aws rds describe-reserved-db-instances-offerings --db-instance-class db.t2.medium

It is possible that "t2.medium" can no longer be used as a Reserved Instance, so I think it would be a good idea to open a case with AWS Support under "Account and billing" and check.

I asked and apparently all the t2 instances will be outdated starting from April 2024. I moved my instances to t3.
