NLB Preserving Client IP
A customer has configured a NLB with Target Groups using Instance IDs and they are able to see the preserved Client IP, which is expected behavior. They are asking what method the NLB is using to preserve that, specifically if DSR is being used, which I don't believe it is but need some additional details to validate or determine what method is being used.

Not DSR.
NLB uses AWS Hyperplane, which enables the sharing of a single IP per Availability Zone between many underlying hosts. Integration with EC2 Networking Software Defined Network (SDN) enables the NLB to preserve the source IP of the client.
