AWS elasticsearch Upgrade Stuck

I was trying to upgrade from 6.8 to 7.1. This status is Upgrading and progress is 0%. I have only 1 elastic search node. But it stuck for last 48 hours. I tried to make to instance count 2 but it didn't even restart the node. I think it needs AWS support intervention.

Hi there.

The best option for this is to open a support case from the AWS Support Console. They will have the necessary tools to review what is happening with your instance. At this point, you may not even be able to change instance type/size or adjust the storage, so better contact support.
