Delete AWS Glue run history?

0

Hello, I have a glue crawler that was set to run once per hour. Now, when I try to view the crawler, while loading historical runs, it gets up to about 1900 before giving up due to throttling/rate limit. So I can't view ANY runs, or even see the status of the current run. After several tries, I can finally see that the crawler has 4619 total runs. I don't need the entire historical runs. Is there any way to delete Glue run history? Especially in bulk?

Hi,

Yes, if there are huge number of historical runs then you might see the timeout. I've seen this happening myself and increasing timeout would be the only solution at this point since there is no way to delete the historical runs.

This is discussed earlier here in this thread on re:Post, where also, it's advised to increase timeout.

Comment here if you have additional questions. Happy to help.
