How can I connect a Virtual Private Gateway and an Internet Gateway to the same Routing Table?

I have set up an S2S VPN to a VPC - the VPN shows up and can connect to the VPC but not to the EC2 Instance where the same VPC is used. In the Routing Tables is VPG inside but I can get a connection from there.

Yes, you can. You don't connect. You add routes to the destinations. Please use VPC Reachability Analyzer. Set the source and destination based on the testing you are doing. Once again flip, the source and destination on the reachability analyzer service to understand if there is a Security Group, NACL or Routing issues between the source and destination.
