Is it possible to communicate between Kendra and SharePoint via a web proxy?

As the title suggests, is it possible to route communications between Kendra and SharePoint through a web proxy, including connections to Entra ID and SharePoint?
For instance, if there is a requirement to route all communications through on-premises infrastructure for centralized management, can connections to SharePoint and Entra ID be made via an on-premises web proxy?

We do not have web proxy configuration for Kendra Sharepoint online connector. Only SharePoint On Prem version is supported by the Web Proxy.

No, the instructions in that blog do not have Kendra accessing SharePoint Online through a web proxy.
