Add multimedia codecs to Lambda

By default, Chromium can't decode mp3, mp4 and other formats. Is there a way to add these codecs to the lambda image? What is the simplest way? I assume an option could be to create a custom docker image? Another simple option could be to add chrome as a layer but I couldn't find a suitable build. Thanks!
